Leonie Withoeft

Leonie Withoeft joined BWLA as agency assistant in 2025, supporting Bryony and her list of authors and helping to bring new voices and compelling stories to readers everywhere.

As a lifelong book lover, she reads broadly from the classics like George Orwell and Douglas Adams, to more contemporary authors such as Khaled Hosseini or Kazuo Ishiguro. However, she can’t resist a guilty pleasure read from authors like Sarah J. Mass. Leonie loves reading across most genres, being drawn more to a great story than to any one specific category.

In addition to her role at BWLA, Leonie is also pursuing her MA in Publishing at University College London, building on her undergraduate degree in History and International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
